~ How does the washing process work?
Once your materials arrive at our facility they are unrolled, inspected, photographed, and tagged. Gala Tent Care Staff will contact you directly with any concerns we have about your materials or any repairs that may be neccessary. After inspection the ropes and buckles are tied and protected, the tent is washed, rinsed, and hung to dry. We also photograph and inspect the tents or moonwalks after the rinse cycle; prior to packaging.
~ Do you wash moonwalks? Do you wash inflatable slides? Do you wash inflatable games?
Yes. Yes. And Yes. We wash all styles and configurations of moonwalks and inflatable games. Our washing process gets rid of that 'stinky' moonwalk smell your customers complain about. ~ What about mildew?
All materials are visually inspected & phtographed before Gala Tent Care washes them. If mildew is discovered, Gala Tent Care will contact you to let you know & ask how you'd like it treated. We offer two options: 1) Just Wash It. 2) Hand Treatment. Rates for mildew treament can be found on our tent washing rates page.
~ How clean will Gala Tent Care get my tent, moonwalk, or canopy?
This is one of the main, if not the only, reason that most companies are interested in having their tents, moonwalks, & canopies professionally washed. Here's what we can tell you: Your tents & other materials will emerge from our washing process brighter, cleaner, fresher smelling, & closer to new then they have after any previous cleaning attempts. We've washed 15 year old frame tent tops that had been shelved due to filth, but were serviced by Gala Tent Care and then returned to rental service. Just please remember - if your tops have heavy abrasions, tears, deeply rooted mildew, etc. the damage will not disappear in a wash.
~ What about ropes, straps, buckles, keder edges, & pole plates?
Your ropes, keder edges, straps, etc will all come out of the washing process markedly cleaner than before. Gala Tent Care generally washes tents with these items attached & precautions are taken to ensure that tangling does not occur during the wash.
~ Do you offer repair services?
We offer basic repair services, including: rope & dogbone replacement, pinhole repair, moonwalk seams, and minor tear repair. Gala Tent Care also offers tent bags, pole covers, ratchet straps, tents stakes, and stake bars for purchase. Please let us know if you have any further questions about these options. ~ How do my tents, moonwalks, canopies, or load covers need to be rolled?
Roll them in a way that makes you happy and comfortable. We'll be unrolling and inspecting your items before they are washed. We'll ask you how you'd like your items packaged for pickup. Remember: if you bring your items in their bags, we'll wash the bags for free!
~ I'm going to bring my tents, moonwalks, canopies, etc to the Gala Tent Care Facility. When & how can I do this?
When your reserve your washing time with a Gala Tent Care Representative, they'll discuss how your items will reach us. If you will be dropping off or picking up your items from our facility, you will need an appointment. We receive and send out shipments 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday. ~ OK, I like the idea. I'm excited. My tents are excited. How long does it take to have my stuff washed?
When you contact us and make a washing reservation, we place you in the washing schedule. Generally we plan on a 7-14 day turn around period from arrival to inspect, document, wash, dry, & package your materials. During peak season our turn around can fluctuate and we'll let you know that when you contact us. We do offer rush & even overnight [wet return] rush services at an additional charge.
