What happens when the materials arrive for washing?
When your materials arrive at our facility they are unrolled, inspected for areas needing pretreatment, and any ropes are gathered to prevent tangling while being cleaned. Your tent tops, inflatables, load covers, drop clothes, etc are then placed in the Gala Tent Bath 3000 for a washing cycle ranging from 40 minutes to 1 hour (depending on load size). They are then removed from the system and hung to dry in our dehumidifed and floor-drain equipped facility. Once dry, we package your materials to your specifications. Typically we either shrinkwrap the materials in a bundle, package them in a bag your provided (which we will wash at no charge), or in a new bag you purchase from us. We work with a number of major and regional LTL carriers for the majority of our U.S. Shipping, but welcome your own carrier as well. Traditionally event rental companies have washed tents and washed moonwalks by hand. We've all done it at some point: spread out the tarps, open the tent, stretch it out, pour soap on it, spray water on it, put on the rain boots, put pads on the polisher, scrub the tent, rinse the tent, scrub the tent to fix the spots we missed, rinse it again, lay it in the sun to dry (and hope it doesn't rain), roll it up, and put it away.
That's a lot of work & expense for a single tent top!
